Artocarpus teysmannii is a very large, evergreen tree that can grow up to 45 metres tall.
The straight, cylindrical bole can be up to 80cm in diameter with buttresses up to 200cm high. In general, species in this genus prefer a deep, well-drained soil; young plants need some shade, but need increasing light levels as they mature.
